Facing the beautiful 14th-century San Sebastian church (housing works of art by Paolo Veronese, Tiziano Vecellio, and more) the hotel is also near the University of Ca’Foscari and the cosy little restaurants and cafés that surround it.
A few yards away you will find: the Maritime Cruises station of San Basilio; the impressive Zattere (romantic walk along the waterfront and its unforgettable sunset on Giudecca island ); the magnificent basilica of Salute (by architect Baldassare Longhena ); the Galleries of Accademia (one of the most important collections of Venetian painting from the 14th to the 18th-century.
In the peaceful Dorsoduro area, the hotel is away from the noisy tourists paths, yet is easily reachable by all modes of transport.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
Located on San Sebastiano canal, the hotel has a dock for water taxis, so if you are arriving at Marco Polo Venice Airport, Santa Lucia railways station or Piazzale Roma (car Terminal), the easiest and most comfortable way to reach the hotel is to take a taxi from there.
If you are coming by train or car, you can take the boat (vaporetto) number 2 from the railway station or from the car park (the car park is near the bus station Piazzale Roma) to S.Basilio stop. Then you have to walk straight ahead through Campo S. Basegio and walk along S.Sebastiano Canal for 50 metres;you will find the hotel on the right-hand side.
