AREA INFORMATION
The Dorsoduro area is the ideal place to stay in Venice, as it is just a few steps from San Marco Square and the Rialto Bridge, but at the same time is detached from the noise and chaos of the centre.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
By Vaporetto:
- Take vaporetto number 1 or 82 and get off at the Accademia stop. Once you are at the stop, turn left and immediately right.
- You will find Hotel Belle Arti along the large street on the right-hand side. Check-in there for Domus Cavanis.
By Plane:
From the airport the easiest way to get to the hotel is by a private taxi boat, which takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the Accademia.
There is also a public ALILAGUNA service which costs EUR 10 per person and takes 90 minutes to get the Zattere.
Alternatively, take bus number 5 from the airport to P.le Roma (bus station in Venice) and then the public waterbus number 1 or 82 along the Canal Grande to the Accademia stop or the circular 82 to the Zattere (fastest).
COMMENTS
In case of reservation for more than 5 nights or for more than 5 rooms, the hotel will require a non-refundable pre-payment of 30% of the total amount.
