AREA INFORMATION
If you would like to go to St Mark's, you can hop onto one of the complimentary shuttle boats leaving from the hotel. There are also boats close by going to Murano, Burano, Torcello and other islands on the lagoon.
TRAVEL INFORMATION
The hotel offers its guests a complimentary shuttle service to San Marco and Rialto by a precious mahogany, private boat, with departures every 90 minutes, from 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, every day and return from Rialto at 5:30 pm, 7:00 pm and 8:15 pm.
From the Airport:
The hotel is only about eight miles from Marco Polo Airport. The most convenient way to get to the Boscolo Grand Hotel dei Dogi from Venice Marco Polo Airport is by water taxi, which will take you direct to the hotel. Alternatively, you can take the ATVO blue bus as far as Venice Piazzale Roma, then take the Vaporetto boat lines 42 or 52 and get out at Madonna dell'Orto.
From the railway station:
You can reach the hotel by water taxi or by Vaporetto, lines 42 or 52.
By car:
You will need to park it in Piazzale Roma at Garage San Marco. Then you can take a water taxi to the hotel, or the Vaporetto, lines 42 or 52 and get out at Madonna dell'Orto.
